Adoption creates a life long legal relationship between an adult and a child not born to the adult. The adoptive parent becomes legally and morally the parent and is responsible for all aspects of the adopted child's care.
Generally, the children who become available for adoption through Children's Services are special needs children. Some have mental, emotional and/or physical problems. Some are members of minority groups. ALL of them need a home....a "FOREVER" home. YOU might be the answer to a child's prayer, to a child's needs.
